The Chalkboard Harley

On or about May 5th 2023 at almost midnight, my wife, Sheila, and I had just left Ihop restaurant eating late after a ministry meeting. Sheila was following me in her car, I was on my 2007 Harley Ultra-Classic. When passing our local Raising Canes restaurant a car suddenly pulled out of the parking lot, crossed two lanes forcing me into the left turn lane and proceeded to travel yet directly in my path. BOOM, we collided totaling my Harley and breaking my left thumb.

Days later I bought the Harley back from the insurance company and proceeded doing the body work and paint job myself in my own shop. That’s when God gave me the idea and vision of using chalkboard paint to allow others to write on it at biker events, church gatherings and such. The first biker event I took it to was the 2023 Lone Star Rally on Galveston Island. It was a BIG HIT there and almost all its available “real estate” was filled with bible verses and well wishes using the many colors of fluorescent chalk pens I provided.

Photos of all the things written on my Harley.

This is the home page for my Chalkboard Harley launching an ongoing album and storyboard to track its life and the interaction of all those souls who care to write on it, God bless them (you) all 🙂
